Can you give a few examples of recent or notable Florida case wins?
Answer: I had a client who was charged with DUI. She blew into the machine and she blew a .13. I actually took that case all the way to a trial in front of a jury and we achieved a not guilty verdict on that. So that was very, very—she was ecstatic, obviously, about that outcome. I’ve had several battery cases where I’ve been able to speak with the State Attorney’s Office and get the case dismissed. I’ve had a client where it was his third DUI, so he was charged with DUI after prior conviction, where I was successfully able to get that case dismissed. I had a client who was charged with sexual battery—which is a very, very serious charge punishable by serious prison time—and I was able to speak with the State Attorney’s Office and get the charges dropped down to misdemeanor battery and get him placed on 12 months probation with the possibility of early termination. Those are the most notable ones that I can think of off the top of my head right now.
