What training have you had in using and understanding science in defending Florida DUI cases?
Answer: I’ve had a lot of training. I’m finishing up my master’s degree in forensic science. I’m also in the process of doing my master’s degree in forensic toxicology. I’m a certified lawyer scientist, one of three in the state of Florida and one of 42 in the nation, and the only female lawyer scientist in the state of Florida, which requires a lot of extensive training and hands-on lab work.
