For over 20 years, attorney Michael S. Perry has been representing clients facing charges ranging from DUI and DWI to white-collar crimes and federal offenses. He has established a solid reputation among both his clients and peers for his experience and professionalism both in and out of the courtroom.
Mr. Perry is a graduate of the University of Florida and the Southwestern University School of Law in Los Angeles. He is admitted to the state bars of Florida, California and Arizona. He is also licensed to practice in the U.S. District Court Middle District of Florida and the U.S. Court of Appeals 11th Circuit.
While he was in law school, Mr. Perry learned about criminal law and the appellate process firsthand when he served as a law clerk for Justice Epstein in the California Court of Appeals Second District. As a student, he also worked in Law Vegas as a federal crimes prosecutor in the U.S. Attorney’s Office. He then went on to practice securities law in California before returning to Florida to work as a public defender. After leaving the public defender’s office, he served as a prosecutor for the city of Sarasota. He then went on to open his own firm practicing exclusively criminal defense. In 2015 he joined forces with David Haenel and Darrin Finebloom to create The Law Place, where he continues to pursue his passion representing those accused of committing crimes.
Mr. Perry is of counsel with The Law Place.
