What are some possible defenses for gun crimes in Florida?
Answer: Gun crimes carry with the same defenses as any other crime. So if you’re involved in a crime with a gun and it’s because you were in a violent act, you could raise a self-defense claim, regardless of whether or not there’s a gun or no gun. With regards to carrying a concealed weapon, you could argue that it wasn’t concealed. Or if you had a permit for it, you could have that as a potential defense.
